It is good, but I always find real estate prices, once you own, pretty much irrelevant unless you plan to sell and not buy anything else. If you sell your -- (edited)

home and buy a new one, whatever you're buying is likely similarly moving up in price. It only really matters if you ever decide to sell out for good. Potentially if you're moving to a different part of the country with a totally different market it matters. But if you're just moving houses or neighborhoods, probably doesn't make much difference to you (other than your property taxes will likely go up).
