When I was 12, we had a neighborhood game of whiffleball. I said I could beat everybody else as long as I had one other player out of the remaining nine. They got to pick the player. They chose the kid who swung at everything. We won because I started grabbing the top of his bat when he started to swing, preventing him from chasing bad pitches.
