I said it was a cool experience seeing the kidlet there....but I fully understood the risks and seeked to minimize them

it scares the shit out of me when I see parents who are not paying attention with their kids.
And considering we didn't have much info...it's a bumper sticker comment. Like they never said if the kid was front row or not...things like that. There's screens there for a reason. Bad shit can happen. We don't know if it was shitty luck or just neglect.
I was of the opinion that without that facts, we can't determine if the parent was good or bad...so I'm not going "SHITTY PARENTS" or "NEVER BRING A KID" without it.
But I fully understand the risks and seek to minimize it while not taking it away from the kid to participate in fandom.
