since teams start 3 to 4 receivers, you will run out of playable receivers faster.

you end up drafting a receiver who plays only on 3rd downs, and they might get you one or 2 catches a game, as opposed to getting a #2 receiver who can get you 100 yards any given week.
Unless you hit gold with a receiver who plays more than expected due to injury, or a receiver who comes out of nowhere.
No one is touching kickers, so taking one now is wasting a pick, since you are missing out on a full time player.
