Okay -- this is an example that does make sense. And please understand I'm not saying "you have to draft a kicker if the spot is open."

I know there are good reasons not to draft a kicker until late rounds, or even the last rounds.
I'm just saying that there are also good reasons to draft a kicker before a bench player.
