Hello,
My mother-in-law and I are walking in this Sunday's March for Babies, in honor of my son Jacen Fox. Jacen was born about 5 weeks premature and spent the first two weeks of his life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Women & Infants Hospital of RI. My son and I are truly blessed to have had such wonderful care throughout my entire pregnancy and during our stay in the hospital. Not every mother and baby are or will be as fortunate as us. To show that we care about education, support and health care for families and for all babies, those born healthy and those that need our help to survive and thrive, we are raising money to help support this fight. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death; and birth defects affect more than 120,000 babies every year. The March of Dimes is investing millions of dollars in Nobel Prize-winning research offering hope for preventions and solutions for babies born premature or with birth defects. Please find it in your heart and budget (if you can, I understand how hard it might be ) to donate in our march for all babies.
