So what does ST consider as the absolutely minimum acceptable specs for a desktop these days? -- (edited)

If I want to run games and consume media, what processor should I be getting? Video card? What's considered good storage space these days?

I have a 5ish year old Dell Studio XPS 9100 with an Intel i7 3.2 GHz processor. 1.8 TB of storage. AMD Radeon HD 5800 video card.

Who is making quality PCs? Who should I avoid?
