For a space buff like myself, so far amazing. Apollo 11 ascent vehicle just left the moon.
The accounts of Collins (the one remaining astronaut is the command module) worrying about the fact that his fellow astronauts have only a single rocket so that they are not stranded on the moon...
I'd never thought of it that way. Nobody has ever successfully left another celestial body at that point in history. There's only been a handful of people who'd ever successfully left Earth at that point. Collins recounts that he'd thought through what he would do if they hadn't been able to leave the moon's surface. That he would never be the same. That he couldn't see killing himself as it was still part of the mission for him to come home and bring back as much information as he could.
