Oh AND I forgot to stop after the border and exchange money darn it! The passport check lady made me all nervous about having so much stuff in my car

I didn't bother to empty it all out & it had some recycle bags, an Easter egg shaped box with wine glasses in it that I bid on and won at an auction ... the diet son apple tea & diet Lipton teas for Meg & a bunch of bottled water for me (we're not only on the road these 4 days, but also all next week as I tour her through N. Michigan - she asked how long I was staying - what I was doing - what I brought & then made me roll down the back window and said "what's all that stuff"... I said ... My clothes .. Pillow ... Towel ... Blanket ... She laughed and said aren't you staying someplace for the film festival? (I think she thought I'd be sleeping in the Enclave) - and I said - oh yeah - the Super 8 on Spadina ... Then she asked if I was bringing any drugs or alcohol in and I said oh yes, I have a bottle of Prosecco a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and a small bottle of Caroline's for our coffee in the room. She just shook her head as if to say "crazy Americans" and told me to go ahead.
Heh heh ... I was afraid shE was going to make me give up one of my 3 bottles :)
