I really think "disenfranchised" is too kind of a word to describe them. They are still white and still enjoy all the benefits that comes with that.

They have consistently voted against their own interests and are "aggrieved" by audacity of people of color wanting to enjoy the same rights and freedoms they enjoy. I get what you're saying, but calling them "completely disenfranchised" implies that they have been treated unfairly. They bear responsibility.
