i said the other day that i didn't doubt she was unique-to-us, but there have been obvious either made-up things or exaggerations or "heard it from someones" presented as fact ororor. i have wondered if they are related to her self-mentioned issues.

crikey, if i'm going to join in, i might as well paste what i deleted:
fwiw, i agree with mafic re: stacy, as i pretty much said myself the other day; and i agree with mel and kare re: the discussion here. i can't imagine being the target of so much of that, esp. with no one actually having been taken for anything beyond time/attention here; and not even in a skags/sam. concern way or possibly (i still have no idea re: what was true there) a wolfie way. :/
put on a skeptical hat re: stories and grammar-blinders on, and take her that way. ongoing slamming makes some folks look far worse than she has.
that said? she can write perfectly well when she tries/takes time to. i wish she did that more often, for all our sakes. ;) -
