The maps Nate Silver posted tonight (if only men/women voted) are stark and telling. The GOP are in trouble.

It's still acceptable in politics today to pander to certain demographics against other demographics (whites vs minorities, rich vs poor, rural vs urban, straight vs gay, even old vs young) but not men vs women. And Republicans have lost women.
