And perhaps seeing those issues come back at you, in print, will raise the level of self awareness by spotlighting exactly what you're doing to yourself.
I have to laugh a little about you talking about where I used to work. If you think I was tough, you have no idea of what gets thrown at you in a treatment facility. Making excuses and coddling are seen as enabling. There's nothing tougher to see than a D&A treatment counselor forcing someone to acknowlege their own words and behavior. Note: I have no idea if this is the problem in this case and I refuse to even speculate about it because 1. I don't want to know and 2. it's none of anyone's business. I was just addressing the presumption you made in your middle sentence.
