You know what gets lost in how crazy PETA is sometimes? How uncrazy the Humane Society usually is.

I mean, why does anyone get involved in PETA when there is a far more sane alternative? (Other than celebrities who they pay heavily and throw parties for?)

I can see that. PETA gets under my skin because I do think they hurt the cause, and because I personally was in their sights at least once. -- nm
