Random question. Putting together this New York trip with my students. Any reason Islanders tickets cost 75% less than Rangers tickets?

We are going to be right by Madison Square Garden but the cheapest Rangers tickets are $119. Meanwhile I can get islanders-Penguins tickets for $35. Am I missing something?
