LYC: CIV 6: Egypt came and me again so I crushed them. From my perspective I seem rather far behind/lost in my game -- (edited)

but when push came to shove, Egypt was worse. I had much better units and was getting new tech and production a lot faster. I used extensive ranged and bombarding units to crush their cities. I even liberated one of them back to England and then with only 2 cities to go England backstabbed me and declared war so I made peace the Egypt and blew England completely off the map
Given my noticeable military advantage with at least the civs on my continent, I'm debating now if I should just go for the conquest victory. I just learned spaceport tech so I'm basically at the end game now. Should be interesting and a good game for my first.
Rome I think will be a problem. They seem very big and on a different continent with France.
