The venue fits 3k people, so the stated goal was to steal bigger name arena acts for multiple nights at the Casino, granted, at a higher price. And to get the shows normally at the 1,800/3,000 person venues in a better music setting.
I have to say I'm impressed with the opening announcements. Yes, prices are expensive for certain shows, but they got pretty big names for a small venue. And they are certainly utilizing the MGM relationships.
Lionel Richie
Bruno Mars
Duran Duran (2 Nights)
Jim Gaffigan (4 Nights)
Kings of Leon
Sebastian Maniscalo (the only one where I have no idea who this is)
Panic! at the Disco
Joe Bonamassa
ZZ Top
Cher (12 Nights)
They also keep announcing more and more.
