I was, for a while, the only single in a group full of married couples. Every time I'd get together with them, I'd hear stories about what their doctors advised re: getting pregnant and home repair tales. I eventually stopped hanging out with them like that. It's uncomfortable sometimes being the odd (wo)man out.
