does my vote really matter in that regard, other than the overall popular vote?

Doesn't the district/county representative cast the vote, then the state Electoral Representatives go by county percentages? Or is it just overall "who has the most votes overall in Florida" at the end of the night, then all the Electorates go to them (so "every vote counts")?
