I posted about this yesterday. The premise seems to be that the right player would have be there at #24 for the Chiefs to make the deal.

There is also a variation to it where we deal Jamaal Anderson instead of the third round pick. Pioli thinks he could be a 3-4 DE.
I've talked to a few folks about it and while I think there is a contingency for this, I doubt it happens. A good 3-4 front seven player would have to be there at #24 to make it work. With NE picking right in front of us, they would snatch any such player at #23.
