different scales, but I still laugh at the restaurant we were in in Lisbon during low season

we were literally the only people in the place (any time you went by restaurant row, you had maitre d's promising to feed you long time), and there were five people on the floor for us. One guy's job was only to keep putting bread on the table, and I finally had to wave him off after the fourth helping, at which point he just put on his jacket and went home.
