I think because I don't keep it logged in on my phone, it's more of a pain.

I have to sign in on my phone, and my password is like 30 characters long, so it's usually longer than the password I need to put in.
(I don't have a lockout on my phone, just a pattern, so I don't want to stay logged in.)

Yep. It is a pain logging in repeatedly, but necessary for security, as you say.

On iOS you can use your fingerprint so it's pretty easy. -- nm
