I saw a bit on the Current TV website where some kid got waterboarded.

This teenage guy. He was making the point that it's an awful, AWFUL thing. He said the guys who did it to him had 'official' training, and the kid certainly didn't seem to enjoy it at all.
But near the end of the film, after he was drying off, he was laughing about it. Kinda deflated the shock value, IMO. ;)
