This is a big deal for the Yukon, but bear in mind it's a territory of ~35,000 people, with 2/3 of them in one town. Yukon Party's been in power

about 15 years.
Also bear in mind the territorial governments have less power than provincial ones, and only then because the Feds let them.
So think of it like Juneau getting a new council.
