corner since his mom threw him out a few days ago. I think he was about 17 - daughter was in high school and they worked together at Disneyland. I didn't take him in, but advised him on finding a room and buying a little used furniture, and borrowed the company truck to get his garage sale furniture moved.
It was about 2 weeks before his mom called, asking if we'd seen him. I told her he was safe and would call her when he was ready. She didn't seem particularly concerned!
Daughter left for college soon after, and kept in touch until his 18th birthday. Then she told him he was an adult now, and old enough to take care of himself. Guess he couldn't compete against those hot college guys :/
