If I ran for President on the sole position of not letting old frail people adopt strong large breed dogs, would I have your vote?

This is the hardest part of working with the shelter dogs, we (per city rules) tcan't refuse to adopt any adoptable animal to anyone, for any reason.

So, I had to do everything short of yelling "you're too old and weak to handle this dog!" when a mother and daughter (daughter was 65+?, mom late 80s?) said they were interested in the 85 lb 10 month old male German Shepherd. They went home to think about it...I hope they decide not to come back, or come back for a smaller dog.
