I have a co-worker who has always had shepherds. She puts them all through that German military dog training.

Her current dog is very big, has hip dysplasia and is kind of old. He's also one of those dogs who really won't allow a stranger into the house. Anyhoo- she's a very stubborn person who has a lot of difficulty walking and lots of foot issues. I imagine she'll be the same way as these ladies when she gets older.
