If Trump does Trump things, the mid-terms will pull things back a bit.

The story will be a hugely unpopular woman who ignored the Rust Belt...the rest of the nation went more or less in line with recent past.
If Trump fails, the narrative goes against him as these are valid swing'ish voters.
