That also wasn't a defense of Trump, obviously. :) Just that Trump won't press on religiously motivated issues because he doesn't care. nm

Sadly, this though arose from my depressing thought about whether we would be better off if someone tried to take Trump out (which I'm not advocating, in case any Secret Service agents are reading!). Then I realized Pence would potentially be worse.
