This is why I respectfully disagree with Reagen's opinion that we will get more escapist movies.

The Reagan era brought us fun movies like Ghostbusters and BTTF, and muscular American movies like Rambo 2 and 3, Rocky IV, Top Gun etc, and John Hughes movies about teenagers with suburban problems.
But we also got Blade Runner, Robocop, Escape from New York, The Thing, Brazil, The Terminator, The Running Man, Mad Max 2 and 3...
