He believes that knuckleballers need wind to be effective.

The Braves actually noted in a press release that his ERA was 5.28 in Toronto and 3.56 everywhere else. That's ass coverage since they're trying to hide the desperation of this signing, but it explains a lot about his Toronto woes.
