I noticed you'd gone missing, but thought maybe I'd missed something about travel or the like.
one hopefully hopeful note: among all his many faults, and his horrid vp aside, trump has actually not been bad towards g's/l's during his campaigning, it's actually been a notable thing, amidst the hits on women and other minorities. he chastised hillary about some related things; and he even held up an "LGBT for trump" rainbow flag at a rally over the weekend, something I don't think any other "republican" presidential candidate has ever done.
there are concerns, certainly, about who he's chosen to align himself with in recent times, the supreme court, some weakish passing comments about marriage equality, etc.; but, as he made some outright pro-LGBT comments during his campaigning and mentioned tolerance that way over the years before he was running, it'd be a big swerve to change a whole lot from that. I don't know if he has family/friends that impact his thoughts or if it was just, as I read he mentioned at some point, living in NYC alone was enough to guide his thoughts, I just haven't felt there's a need to be as fearful about him for solely LGBT concerns as I am about broader ones.
(of course, I hope I'm right - please let me be right.)
