There will always be some, but it really is changing. With each generation it has changed. From one where racism was institutional and a core belief

to the next where it was overt, but no longer legal, to the next where it was understood to be impolite but was latent, to one where it was not discussed, but simmered, to one where it became understood to be bad, but still was prevalent. Our parents views continued to impact us as each generation (as a whole) has tried to progress away from it. My kids and their classmates truly seem to not only not hold racist views, but don't even understand where they would come from. They recognize the institutional bias that so many from our parent's generation and our generation, don't see. The younger generations have their issues, but they really give me a lot of hope on these things. Hell, if you only counted the votes of millenials and younger, Hillary would have won in a massive landslide (I think I saw it was 47 states).
