Voter ID laws. I was arguing that they may have cost Hillary the election. His view was ID laws make perfect sense and that democrats arguing they are a problem is whiny and a loser argument. No matter what facts I threw out there they were dismissed as partisan propaganda. This is a very smart and generally thoughtful guy but the party has become more about what feels right to them than about what the facts are.. It is now my mission to convert him on this. .
