To them, the only racism is when you outright use the N word, or burn a cross, or have a KKK hood. Because they're not those things, they don't see it as racism. Because Trump didn't use those words exactly, it's not racist. Racism, to most white people, is something we got rid of with the civil rights movement, and only occurs with extremists.

They don't see calling most Mexican immigrants rapists as racist because they kind of agree with Trump there. They don't see outlawing Muslim immigrants as wrong because they feel Muslims are the problem when you get down to it. They think Black Lives Matter is bunch of racist nonsense.

I don't know how we get them to see the reality, but we need to.
