So now that I can run 5K I need to figure out how I can run 5K faster.

I've basically trained by just running/walking 5K at a time and as I've gone on it has been more running and less walking. While I recognize the improvement I seem to have hit a plateau.

I looked at some sites that have had training programs but they were too complicated. It's not like I'm aiming for 16 minutes. I gather that the general idea is to mix some longer slower runs with some shorter faster interval runs.
