need these things most, are homogeneous in the opposite direction. Changing there is an uphill battle. Not the wrong one to fight for, but it's far less simple than that. Overall I think local is a huge problem for the democratic party. They're losing states badly and it is spreading. I do think focus down at those levels is important, though in a world where facts and logic no longer matter, I struggle to understand how they regain ground.
