Have you gotten to the part where the mother of the lead protagonist runs into the dream boyfriend at the grocery store?

And starts chatting with him about how it was so sad that her daughter (lead protagonist) and he never managed to find time to date, while subtly -- though not overtly -- implying that the were both very attracted to each other?
