I've seen Papa John's show up on "boycott because they support Trump" lists but I cannot find the origin.

Others just don't like Papa John's but I'd argue the hate is on par to those who hate Pizza Hut or Domino's (Little Caesar and Sbarro being in a different when it comes to pizza chains).
