So Canadians on here may or may not find this interesting, but I'm going to back Erin O'Toole in the CPC leadership race. -- (edited)

Three main reasons:

1) I think he's the strongest communicator in field and to me that will be the biggest challenge in 2019.

2) I've asked around and nobody has a bad word to say about him. I think that is indicative of how he carries himself and it would be nice to go to battle with a naturally-likable leader for a change.

3) Generational change. He's actually younger than Trudeau by a couple of years, but a strong CV with being a Captain who flew on Sea Kings, then worked for Fortune 500 companies as a corporate lawyer prior to entering politics. He also was instrumental in creating the True Patriot Love charity for veteran support.
