I have an android phone. The Alexa app works seamlessly.
but I do use prime music and iHeartRadio for my music stuff

How is the speaker quality on the echo? I really cannot think of a reason to get an echo other than because it's nifty.

the speaker is great. I use it for the news every morning. To answer questions while cooking (and as a timer). The Shopping list is great.

I recently integrated my Echo with Todoist. Awesome. Much better than having to go to the Alexa app for the shopping list -- nm
