See below. How is the coverage (especially in rural areas)?

Never had any issues. They are on the AT&T version and as far as I can tell it is exactly like AT&T proper -- nm

I'm looking at coverage. I know that ST uses AT&T and Cricket is owned by it. Do they have the same coverages as AT&T?

patryk does indeed use cricket. coverage is the same, but it is slightly throttled. it's not bad, but you can tell -- nm

Lurker! Thanks. It looks like it's throttled to 8mbps? I think we could live with that.

8Mbps is definitely acceptable, especially at their pricing I do not regret walking away from ATT. -- nm

I think the 8Mbps "throttle" is across the board with all AT&T MNVOs -- nm

head has flawless coverage (I miss at&t). I think patryk had throttling issues with speed, but they may have abated. it's the same network. -- nm

it's not throttled like 3G or slower, the LTE just caps at I think 8mbps -- nm

I have verizon now. it's kind of crap. related: does verizon not have "talk over wifi?" because that makes the mart iffy. -- nm

Didn't think of that. I use it at home because AT&T is kind of spotty. Hmm. -- nm

I'm probably very spoiled but it's hard to imagine not being in an LTE area these days other than my grandparents farm -- nm

I am not sure as we never use enough voice minutes to worry about it.

I have no limits. I just have crappy coverage. and at sashamart there is no coverage at all. I had to use what's app to make a call. I still feel dirty. -- nm*

Oh. I have only been in one location that has no coverage. It is at the bottom of a valley on my way home. -- (edited)
