yeah, we go to the two breakfast places all year long, we always leave an especially big tip the last time before Christmas at both -- (edited)

if it's a waitress we've had regularly (most of them know us - they aren't big places.)
i mean, that might just be an extra $5 or $10 over a normal tip on our bill, but that's a BIG percentage.
a couple years ago we left an extra $20 (practically 100% of the bill) because it was a waitress we had ALL the time who was super great.
