oh, i think ebert's wrong about a lot of good movies. that's ok, i would hate any critic that i agreed with 100%...

but the thing i do like about ebert is that he clearly loved movies and never got tired of writing about them. i quibble about his sort of populist style some and i'm not always a fan about a lot of things he champions, but he really never let the grind get him down. which i really respect him for.
