Try putting the old ram back and leaving the ssd in there, laptops can be finicky about ram -- nm

Also, try putting the old hard drive back in with the old RAM. See if it's the actions you did, or something else. -- nm

the old ram is still there, i just added new to a second slot. I did try to remove new but still nothing
