Wow. For those that think nobody helps vets, we have a vet in a tiny apartment that goes for $250/month.

He has a part time job and has fallen further and further behind in his rent. We have let him stay partly because the place will be rather hard to rent and partly because we feel sorry for him.

We just received word from Volunteers of America that we will have a check for $1,725 by the end of next week.
