Yeah, it's likely the best ice rink but Wollman in Central Park is very nice thanks to the scenery.

The Rockefeller Center rink is awesome and they limit it to 150 people at a time so it's not crowded but there is a long line to skate.
Bryant Park is only $20 to rent skates and it's free to get on the ice.
