I like it, and I wouldn't say it messed up any games.

I don't like the idea of a player getting a turnover and then not being able to try and score. I don't like players being down and the play being over when they have the ball in bounds and nobody has touched them. I'm willing to make an exception for a player giving themselves up by sliding, but I'm not a huge fan of it.
