phil's mom knew he was taking her, so she's in some trouble too. and she's a *teacher* locally, so... that might be bad.

obviously phil lied to his mom and told her that courtney was 19, not 17. and obviously courtney lied and told phil that she was being abused at home, but that's neither here nor there.
