our laundry room is open, its the hall from the kitchen to the 'garage' aka my office, it still froze (not to the point of damage luckily) so on reall

cool nights we pull the washing machine out from the wall so air gets back there, we also stuffed some insulation in wall, its litterally siding, studs and a sheet of masonite, now with some leftover fiberglass added.
